Geoffrey's Story I recall the day when everything went wrong with me. My parents and I went to see some wild animals at a game park. On the way back, we came to a town. Because it was night and we couldn't go so far due to it being dark, we decided to sleep in a certain house which had no windows. That night something terrible happened! Robbers came in and beheaded my parents, without any cause. They took the money and all our clothes. I was not killed, but they hit my leg with metal and ran away. I was left miserable, lonely and hopeless. There was no one near to help me. The place was very wet due to my parents' blood. I was confused and because I was young, I did not know the way home, and so I decided to go and live in the street. People in the street were unfriendly to me and did bad things to me. Wherever I went to borrow food, I was chased away. I suffered a lot. I starved with hunger and thirst. The Lord rescued me from the pit of darkness and brought me to light. I wished to die, but God was with my life. I prayed God to hold my life safe, and He did it. God gave me a good mum who meets my needs, he gave me a place where I can sleep, and something I can feed on. God has a good plan for me in my future. When I grow up and finish my secondary education and university, I would like to become a musician. I would like to have gospel songs. I believe and have faith that God is going to open the doors of blessings to me. I will deliver the word of God through songs. - Geoffrey, 16 year-old

Moreta's Story Last year in 2005, I was confined to a hospital. I've had pulmonary problems that I suffered many months before. I stayed less than two weeks in the hospital and I signed a voluntary discharge due to the fact that I could no longer pay and afford my expenses and medicines. I come from a very poor family and don't have any medical aid. I thank our God who guided me through a friend as to where I can get free medicine and to the medical clinic. My TB [tuberculosis] medicines were supplied for free until it will be healed after six months. God is not only helping me, but also many other people who are sick. I now continue to believe that when you are faithful in prayer in asking help from God, then He will always guide and lead us to do what is good. Many, many blessings for the medical clinic - all of the staff, doctors, nurses, medicines - and especially for all who are supporting the clinic. Thank you so much! - Moreta
